The NTC has announced that there will be no extensions granted after the specified date.
It is important to note that the current registration for the 2024 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 1 is specifically for individuals who hold a Bachelor of Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Ghana.
If any individual holding a Bachelor of Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education has received a referral in the traditional GTLE (Essential professional skills, Literacy, and Numeracy), they will need to go through the registration process again to write the 2024 GTLE 1. Starting the process afresh is required in this case.
If an individual with a diploma has received a referral in the traditional GTLE and wishes to write the GTLE in 2024 and beyond, they will be required to obtain a degree.
The examination is scheduled to take place from March 17th to 19th, 2024.
